Connecting a Alibaba domain to PledgeBox


Step 1: Log in to your Alibaba Cloud account

1. Open a new browser tab and log in to your Alibaba Cloud account.

2. Click Console.

3. Click Domain names.

4. Click Manage for the domain that you want to connect to PledgeBox.


Step 2: Update the CNAME records

1. Click Add DNS Record.

2. For Record Type, select CNAME.

3. In the Hostname field, type www.

4. In DNS Request Source, select Default.

5. In Record Value, enter survey.pledgebox.com.

6. In TTL Period, select 10 (Recommended).

7. Click OK.


Step 3: Connect your domain to PledgeBox

1. From your PledgeBox admin, go to Connect Domain.

2. Type the name of the domain that you want to connect, and then click Next.


Step 4: Additional verification for your PledgeBox domain

1. Go back to Alibaba Cloud and locate the domain that you want to connect to PledgeBox.

2. Click Manage > Domain Name Resolution > Add DNS Record.

3. For Record Type, select TXT.

4. In the Hostname field, enter pledgebox._verification.

5. In DNS Request Source, select Default.

6. In a new tab, go to your PledgedBox admin, click Connect Domain, and then type the name of the domain that you want to connect.

7. Locate the Required value, and then click Copy.

8. Go back to your Alibaba Cloud tab, and then paste the Required value in Record Value.

9. In TTL Period, select 10 (Recommended).

10. Click OK.

11. Go back to your PledgeBox admin tab, and then click Verify connection.
