Step 1: Log in to your Hostinger account

1. Open a new browser tab, and then log in to your Hostinger account.

2. Click Domains > Domains portfolio.

3. Click Manage for the domain that you want to connect to PledgeBox.

4. Click DNS/Nameservers.

Step 2: Update the CNAME records

1. Locate the CNAME record that has the name www, and then click Edit.

2. Enter the following CNAME record to your DNS settings:

Type: CNAME

Name: www

Content: survey.pledgebox.com

TTL: 1 hour

Step 3: Connect your domain to PledgeBox

1. From your PledgeBox admin, go to Connect Domain.

2. Type the name of the domain that you want to connect, and then click Next.

Step 4: Additional verification for your PledgeBox domain

As an additional security measure, your domain might require extra verification. This extra verification requires you to create a TXT record on the domain.

Steps:

1. In your Hostinger account, go to Domains > Domains portfolio.

2. Next to the domain that you're connecting to PledgeBox, click Manage, and then click DNS/Nameservers.

3. In the Manage DNS records card, click the Type drop-down menu, and then select TXT.

4. Change the Name field to pledgebox._verification.

5. Go to your PledgeBox admin, click Connect Domain, and then Locate the Required value, and then click Copy.

6. Go back to your Hostinger tab, paste the Required value from PledgeBox into TXT value, and then click Add Record.

7. Go back to your PledgeBox admin tab, and then click Verify connection, which can take up to 48 hours.

Note

Verifying the domain can take 12 to 48 hours.
