Connecting a Network Solutions domain to PledgeBox


Step 1: Log in to your Network Solutions account

1. Open a new browser tab and log in to your Network Solutions account.

2. Click Domains.

3. Scroll to the bottom, and then select Advanced Tools.

4. Click MANAGE for the domain that you want to connect to PledgeBox.


Step 2: Update the CNAME records

1. Locate a record that has WWW, and then click the ⋮ > Delete. If you need this record, then ensure that you save a copy of it.

2. Click Add record.

3. Update the Type to CNAME.

4. Update Refers to to WWW.

5. Update Alias to to survey.pledgebox.com.

6. Update TTL to 1 hour.

7. Click EDIT.


Step 3: Connect your domain to PledgeBox

1. From your PledgeBox admin, go to Connect Domain.

2. Type the name of the domain that you want to connect, and then click Next.

Step 4: Additional verification for your PledgeBox domain

1. Go back to Network Solutions, and then click Domains > Advanced Tools > Manage > Add Record.

2. Update Type to TXT.

3. Update Refers to to Other Host.

4. Update Host name to pledgebox._verification.

5. In a new tab, go to your PledgedBox admin, click Connect Domain, and then type the name of the domain that you want to connect.

6. Locate the Required value, and then click Copy.

7. Go back to your Network Solutions tab, and then paste the Required value in TXT Value.

8. Update TTL to 1 hour.

9. Click EDIT.

10. Go back your PledgeBox Admin tab, and then click Verify connection.

Note

PledgeBox verifies that the DNS records are correct. This can take 12 to 48 hours.
