Use Add Credit to give a backer an agreed credit toward their order. Credit is an order adjustment. It does not send money back to the backer.

Before you add credit

PledgeBox imports successful Kickstarter or Indiegogo pledges. Do not add the original pledge again as credit. The Add Credit dialog explains that added credit increases the available pledge amount for reward upgrades or add-ons.

Add credit to one order

1. Go to Kickstarter Imports or Indiegogo Imports → Backer List - Orders.
2. Find the backer and open the order.
3. Go to Transactions.
4. Click Add Credit.
5. Check the order and enter the agreed Credit Amount.
6. Click OK after checking the amount.
7. Review the new Credit Offer entry and order balance.

Add credit to a group

1. Open Backer List - Orders.
2. Set filters for the intended group.
3. Check the filtered orders before continuing.
4. Open Batch Actions → Add Credits.
5. Review the amount and affected orders in the dialog before confirming.

If Add Credit is unavailable, check the order’s lock status and your project permissions. Do not unlock an order already handed to fulfillment without coordinating with your shipping team.
