How to send a survey email to an individual backer?

Send a survey-related email from the individual order. Check the recipient and email type before you send it.

Send from the order

  1. Open Kickstarter Imports or Indiegogo Imports → Backer List - Orders.
  2. Search for the backer and open the order.
  3. Check the email address and survey status.
  4. Find Invitation Status on the order detail page.
  5. Click Send in that section.
  6. Select the required email in the Send Email dialog. For example, choose Response Needed or Reminder as appropriate.
  7. Check your selection, then click Send in the dialog.
  8. Review the order’s email history after sending.

The order header also provides Resend Survey. Use the individual order when you intend to contact only one backer.

If the backer does not receive it

Confirm that the address matches the intended backer. Ask them to check spam and any Apple private-email forwarding settings. A sent-history entry does not guarantee inbox delivery. Avoid repeated resends while investigating a delivery problem.

Do not send an incomplete-survey reminder merely because an order is locked or shipped. Check Survey Status separately.
