PledgeBox Pledge Manager supports Stripe and PayPal for collecting additional payments through a backer survey. The creator connects the receiving account in the project’s payment settings.

The options a backer can use depend on what the creator has connected and what the payment provider makes available for that transaction.

For creators

Follow Payment setup and confirm the receiving account before sending a survey that collects money. Review the applicable PledgeBox plan and the payment provider’s own charges.

Bank Account option

The Receive Payment page also offers Bank Account through Stripe Express. This is a Stripe-based receiving and payout route. Its current hint specifies monthly payments and Bank Account as the default when both Stripe and Bank Account are enabled. See Payment setup before choosing a receiving route.

When funds become available

A successful payment does not mean the funds are immediately available in your bank. Check the receiving Stripe or PayPal account for settlement, holds and payout status. See When you receive the funds.

For backers

Review the amount due and use the payment choices shown in your survey. If a payment fails, follow Payment troubleshooting before attempting another payment.
